We are almost finished with February and this is my first post for the new year. I had high hopes for 2016. This would be the year to rebound and rebuild. Well the first month and a half have been more challenging than the past 2 years combined.
Even with all the challenges – I still have HOPE. No one will take that away. Reflection on the past and the potential of the future are the source of inspiration. This blog drives me to continue inspiring, mentoring, developing, thriving, evolving, nurturing, building and loving.
There is a saying: “What does not kill you, makes you stronger.” My strength right now matches up to Goliath. There is nothing standing in my way except fear of the unknown but at this point even that fear is miniscule in the scheme of things.
Focusing on the positive and how to continue to develop, build and maintain are of primary concern. However, prioritizing what went wrong and making the neccessary corrections are key. Don’t get me wrong – this is not any kind of idle or masked threat. I / We are methodically taking down the obstacles thrown at us – they are in my sight line.
Men are supposed to be made of steel – I am here to say; this man is made of steel. Not just any steel but the hard, rough, worn steel from the Industrial Era that is often emulated in current home designs.
